Voltas Q3 net up 86% to Rs 76 cr

Tata Group firm Voltas today said its consolidated net profit rose by 85.80 per cent to Rs 76.46 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, over the same period corresponding fiscal. - M&M Q3 net at Rs 413 cr on healthy sales - LIC Housing Fin Q3 net up 14% to Rs 154 cr - India Cements Q3 net dips 44% to Rs 35 cr - Zydus Wellness Q3 net up 105% to Rs 14 cr - HCL Tech Dec qtr net dips 36% to Rs 255 cr - Camlin Fine Chem Q3 net up 23% at Rs 3.15 cr The company had a net profit from ordinary activities after tax at Rs 41.15 crore for the same period previous fiscal. Net sales increased to Rs 990.48 crore for the latest quarter against Rs 953.77 crore for the same period last fiscal, Voltas said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. For the nine month period ended December 31, the company posted a net profit from ordinary activities after tax of Rs 247.70 crore against Rs 185.99 crore for the same period previous fiscal. Shares of Voltas were trading at Rs 172.80 on BSE, down 4.16 per cent from its previous close.
