Nalco Q1 net profit plunges 76% to Rs 126 cr

National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) today reported a fall of 76 per cent in its net profit to Rs 126.45 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, over the corresponding period a year ago. - Whirlpool India reports 13% growth in Q1 - TVS Motor Q1 net surges 150% at Rs 18 cr - Moser Baer India Q1 net profit at Rs 2.76 cr - ABB Q2 profit drops 36% to Rs 83 cr - Federal Bank Q1 profit jumps two fold to Rs 136 cr - NEWSALERT: Dish TV Q1 net loss at Rs 69.2 cr Total income of the company also fell to Rs 1,036.50 crore during the April-June period of current fiscal from Rs 1,593.70 crore of the same quarter last year, Nalco said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Shares of Nalco today settled at Rs 293.40, up 5.15 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
