IBM wins 10-year IT services contract from co-operative bank

IBM today announced that it has signed a 10-year Information Technology (IT) services agreement with Gujarat-based Sardar Bhiladwala Pardi People’s Co-operative Bank (SBPPCB). The engagement will be in the form of a pay-as-you-go model, which will enable the bank to save up to 50 per cent in its capital expenditure on IT Infrastructure, IBM said in a statement. - Small gets attractive for IT services providers - IBM signs Rs 380-crore, 10-year outsourcing deal with Digicable - IBM bags Rs 380-cr deal from Digicable - IBM goes desi - Wipro inks MoU for low carbon tech development - Kronos in talks with Gujarat firms for workforce management The company did not specify the size of the contract.As part of the agreement, IBM will provide Managed Continuity Services encompassing server management, network & security management, back up & database management.
