Bajaj Auto records 52% sales growth

Pune-based Bajaj Auto, India"s second biggest two wheeler manufacturer today stated that the company has recorded a growth of 52 per cent in sales of motorcycles at 249,681 units in October as against 163,850 units recorded in the same month a year ago. - Hyundai"s October sales up 11% - Maruti sales soar 32% in Oct - Bajaj rejigs portfolio, phases out two bikes in three months - TVS reports 12% increase in October sales - GM India Oct sales up 15% at 7,413 units - Japan"s vehicle production dives to 34-year low The growth has been led equally by 55,413 units of Pulsar and 95,139 units of Discover amid supply constraints, said the company today in a statement. Exports grew by 12 per cent during the same month at 84,012 units as compared to 75,092 units posted in the corresponding month a year ago. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R, which was launched by it in October has so far seen sales of 127 units.
